Daniel provided us with an excellent tour of the Old City of Jerusalem, especially the Southern Wall. He provided interesting commentary and history for all! My parents (in their late 70's with mobility problems) joined, thanks to the special and individual attention Daniel provided. We would not have had the special memories of a visit to the Old City without Daniel's assistance. Daniel is a wonderful guide for veteran visitors to Jerusalem who are ready to learn more and for first time visitors.
I participated in a tour of Jerusalem's Nachlaot neighborhood with Daniel. He was knowledgeable, smart and funny and knew his audience. Despite being a hot day, Daniel made it a fun, enjoyable and educational experience.
Daniel took our family on a private tour of chevron and kever rochel. In addition he organized a jeeping tour for us on the same day. He was extremely profesional, timely and knowledgeable. He was able to relate easily both to the kids and to the adults. He is very creative and has great ideas on making each tour unique. I highly recomend using him.
To Whom It May Concern,
It is my pleasure to recommend Daniel Gutman as a travel guide and trip leader in Israel. He was our guide last year for two months and he helped to make our visit so much more meaningful and interesting.
His manner is genial and his personality is warm and affable. He knows all the highways and by-ways of the country. Wherever he took us.... to the Old City, Hebron, Efrat, Massada, the Dead Sea area, Bethlehem, etc., it became clear to us that his knowledge of history and details was extraordinary. As we drove with him from place to place, he shared events and episodes about the local scene pertaining both to ancient and modern Israel. His running commentary enriched each trip we took. He is able to speak both English and Hebrew fluently, and it was always easy to understand him.
Daniel was consistently sensitive concerning our needs and our physical comfort. He is a gem of a person, and an outstanding tour guide.

If you wish to see Israel as it must be seen then engage Dan Gutman as your guide.
His guidance and oratory are excellent. I was escorted to the "Yad Vashem" Museum and the "Western Wall" where he explained every detail and was very thorough.
Truly I was given a sweeping tour which is the real way to see Israel.
Dan was very accommodating and even pushed my wheelchair on Shabbat.
I loved going thru the Arab Market that afternoon witnessing a different culture in food, dress and business practices. He did not rush through and made sure I would never forget what I saw and learned.
I was very pleased to be invited to his home for Friday night Shabbat dinner. His darling wife served the traditional "Chicken soup" and all the accompaniments (delicious food).
I saw more in four days then most see in 2 weeks.
On my next trip to Israel he will once again be my guide. Its great to be on a one on one basis. That's the way to see Israel.
When my family and I went to israel, we did'nt have a tour guide yet, but we heard from different people about Daniel Gutman, a well experienced, fun tour guide! so we found his information and contacted him. To this day my family talks about the every day excitement he made for us, and the beautiful sites he had taken us; including the Ir dovid tunnel tours, ziplining, reppeling, ATVing, snorkling for chilazon by the Mediteranian, and much much more! Indeed he was a very pleasant and knowledgeable tour guide, also very open to ideas of our taste, and just was instrumental in having the vacation of our lives.
I cannot explain all the ways Daniel made this trip worthwhile. He ensured our group was safe, happy, cool (when possibly) and always learning and laughing! He tirelessly lead us through Israel, making each step of the way exciting and enjoyable. He is a wealth of knowledge on culture, history, and religion.
I came on Birthright not expecting too much, but open to learning more about Israel. I was blown away and forever changed by the experience Daniel gave my group. He even brought us home to meet his adorable family, which was a special and personal treat. I would recommend Daniel to anyone considering visiting Israel. He really made the trip!
